At Ilomata International Journal of Management, both readers and authors benefit from unrestricted open access. We believe that open access promotes global accessibility and enhances knowledge utilization across professional, academic, and broader communities. There are no fees for accessing articles as the journal sustains its publication expenses, including peer review management, journal production, online hosting, and long-term archiving, through an Article Processing Charge (APC) paid by authors, institutions, or funders for each published article. The APC, however, does not influence editorial decisions, ensuring that all manuscripts are evaluated solely on their academic merit.

Article Processing Charges (APC)
Starting in July 2022, all accepted articles are subject to an Article Processing Charge (APC). This charge ensures free access for readers and supports the costs associated with peer review management, journal production, online hosting, and long-term archiving. The APC is assessed based on the publisher's policy, and authors are responsible for securing funds for the APC prior to submitting their articles. For articles accepted from January 1, 2024:

  • USD 105 (International authors)
  • Rp 1,500,000 (Indonesian authors)

Authors must confirm their ability to cover the APC at the time of submission, though this confirmation does not influence the peer review process. APC invoicing occurs only after the article has been accepted.

Article Submission Charges (ASC)
Ilomata International Journal of Management does not impose any fees for article submissions.

APC Waiver
The journal is committed to supporting authors who may face financial barriers. Authors from low-income countries are exempt from paying the APC. Additionally:

  • Corresponding authors with an h-index of 15 or higher on Scopus or WoS are eligible for a full APC waiver.
  • Reviewers for Ilomata International Journal of Management receive a discount of Rp 250,000 per review completed.

All waivers and discounts are granted to ensure accessibility without impacting the editorial process. Decisions on waivers or discounts do not influence the editorial team’s decisions regarding the acceptance or rejection of any submitted manuscript. All submissions are evaluated based on scholarly rigor and relevance to the journal’s scope, upholding the integrity of the editorial process
